Bay Area ranges that allow the following

I wasn't entirely sure to post this, so I figured I'd ask here as it seems to be general enough and firearms related. Are there any ranges between San Jose and San Francisco that allows rapid fire and holster draws? I know Jackson Arms up in South San Francisco allows rapid fire, but no holsters. Metcalf in San Jose, Reed's Indoor Range in Santa Clara, and Target Masters in Milpitas don't allow either, which are the closest ranges to me that I know of. I haven't tried the Sunnyvale Rod and Gun Club yet, shot them an email asking about their rapid fire and holster policies. If anyone knows of such a place, please let me know.

Richmond and Concord, yes they are North of SF, allow holster and rapid fire practice after you have taken their safe handgunner class.

Saturday morning 9-12 at Richmond at the action range...
You have to check in and get holster qualified.

I did not know that. Reed's range rules are pretty explicit on holsters and rapid fire. Will have to give them a call.

*Edit: Are you sure that's not during classes that they teach, but general range hours?

If you meet their requirements I know it is possible as I have seen it while I was there shooting on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't a class either, it's been individuals who have been practicing.

You have to take Reed's in house pistol class (from Louis Awerbuck of Yavapai) . They will not let you holster draw until you've passed Stage 2 course. They will exempt you from taking Stage 1 if you've taken an equivalent course in the past (ie. GunSite, LMS Defense, etc).

If you're a regular and buddies with the guys at the shop, sometimes they'll be a bit more lenient on the "2 second" rule. You also gotta use your own discretion in those cases too (somewhat empty range, double tap not to the head, <15yrds, etc)

I get to do holster practice on the right hand side. Requirements were one day and two day defensive handgun. In my case, since there was a change of instructors and a long gap in my holster practice, I took the CQT class to keep them happy. That got a lot of rust out of my draw.

Louis is a great teacher. I have taken many classes with him since then (not needed to be on the right hand side) to learn more.

And I believe Reeds requires some recency of training; I took a class there and at the time the 'permission' was for within a year of the class.

Not that the classes aren't great to take, anyway.

Yes but who wants to take an annual $300-$500 class just to be able to do double taps?

I am somewhat offended that they will not accept certificates from some of the top schools. It is, however, tempered by the fact that the classes they offer are high in quality and with a top notch instructor.

Just got off the phone with targetmasters since their website says they'll allow rapid fire, holsters, etc. with certification. Of course that certification is apparently a police ID.
