Does Angeles Range do transfers now?

I saw one thread that mentioned the reloading store at Angeles does PPT now. I searched and looked on their site but found nothing more. Is that true? Are they OLL friendly? I have a BB underfolder AK I'm looking to transfer. Thanks.

They do at the reloading store and have for a while. Not the fastest.... but they do. Not sure on their friendliness when it comes to "evil rifles"

I know they're pretty comfortable with allowing OLLs and 50 DTC's on the range, give them a call, I'm sure they'd do the transfer.

Though, if you're in the area, Fort Courage Armory in Simi Valley is a good option too.

With all respect that's not even CLOSE to Angeles. You're talking 40 minutes away.

If you want the best place in the San Fernando Valley area, go to PD Gun Supply & Tool, formerly IAC. Hassle free, friendly and fast. Dimitri doesn't mess around.

Actually, the transfers are done at the gun store next to the reloading store. It's run by Bruce Krell. He can also order you whatever you want.

They have limited hours though, call first to make sure. When I lived in Southern Cal and shot at Angeles, I recall that the FFL was only open 4 days per week.

No kidding, and I would still drive out to Angeles when I used to live in Simi Valley too. I know people who came to Angeles from Redondo Beach area. Maybe the OP was just looking for a convenient place, and that's specifically why I said "if you're in the area."

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm looking for somewhere in the SGV that will transfer evil rifles on the weekend. I'm going to give Shooters Edge a try since I'm planning to head up to Angeles this weekend anyway but all suggestions are welcome!

Again, don't waste your time anywhere else, go to PD Gun Supply & Tool on Glenoaks Blvd. Saturday hours are 12-5, closed Sundays.
