Anyone been to Ammo depot ? A buddy said they have decent deals 500 Tula steel cased for 110 1000 for 220. PMC xtac was 1000 for 300 bucks. Cool place? Is that what you've seen too?

I was in there about a week ago. Its a really small store nothing but ammo & a few targets but the prices were good & the staff was friendly. I dont remember exact prices but what your buddy said sounds right. Its on folsom blv near hazel, you can see it from hwy 50 right before the hazel exitComment

You beat me to the punch on writing about the Ammo Depot. I stopped by there on Thursday and met Brandon and Aaron (brothers) who own the shop. Very friendly staff and great service.
They sell commercial reloads for decent prices. 500 9mm for $99.99 and 500 .40 for $119.99. About the same I paid for at a recent gun show.
They also had decent pricing on target shotshells. Also stocked some pretty lethal looking shotshells with a slug and 8 buckshot pellets.
They have a very large selection of different types and calibers of ammo and a good selection of targets as well. I would give them a try. Always good to support the little guy!Comment

I did just find their webpage... looks like they may have just opened? No info other than a storefront picture and address/phone number... Either way - will be worth a stop on my next trip up the hill.Comment

Decent prices, friendly staff. I stopped in a month ago, right after another calgunner posted about them. Very friendly. Small shop, a little hidden, but they have signs out on Folsom Blvd directing you back to the shop. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.Comment

It's pretty convenient off of HWY 50. You don't really have to drive IN the city to get to their store.Comment
