Bed liner spray on a wood stock?

I wanted to see if anyone has used the spray can bed liner on a wood stock to add texture. Any problems with peeling? I plan to sand and apply it on bare wood.

It will work but I would apply a good primer first after sanding with 150 grit paper.

Automotive or Spray "Kills"...Zinnzer brand is better than Kills, but both will work

I used "stone" spray texture in Sandstone on my Mossberg, for that real desert cammo look and feel

It actually works and looks pretty good.

The traitor is the plague."......Cicero
