I thought that you were going to suggest: Microstamping (microchipping) criminals instead of guns!

I know we're all furious about the passage of AB1471, but the suggestion is really immature and irresponsible. We all know microstamping is a sham, but there's no need for us (law abiding citizens) to give criminals "pointers" on how to commit crimes or foil law enforcement.

Oh, I don't think we'll be giving criminals any pointers. They'll figure all this out on their own.

Remember, this has nothing to do with "public safety" or helping LE. This is purely about gun control, and is one more step on the way to greater restrictions impose by those that seek to disarm us. The fact that it will assist criminals is merely a sidebar - the politicians of this state could care less about REAL safety and getting crime under control...

Criminals are lazy by nature. I bet, even if you show them how to do something like this, they will be to lazy to actually do it.

You're assuming that they would actually realize the gun is a microstamping version in the first place.

what about aftermarket parts? can't you just buy the replacement parts and swap them. i wonder if the parts companys are going to steer clear of us now.
