    Bravo Company Question

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this but... Has anyone had issues contacting Bravocompany by phone? I have been calling the for a week to no avail.

I am purchasing an barrel and handguards, but cannot decide if I should go with a 9inch DD lite or a 10inch with a low profile gas block. any suggestions? I would like to maybe set up a scope or eventually put a holographic set up and was worried the front site might be in the way. I am kinda new to this and it is my first AR build.

The front site doesn't get in the way. It's more of a preference/OCD kind of thing.

With magnified optics, once you get to about 2.5X and above, the front sight just literally disappears from view. With a holographic (reflex-style) zero-magnification type optic the front site will be there, but if you're using the optic correctly (focus on the target, two-eyes open) your brain makes the site go away.

Still, some people don't like it. Almost always for aesthetic reasons rather than practical.

But from a practical standpoint, it's truly a non-issue. The military doesn't seem to have any issues with millions of issue M4's

Best the email BCM, they do not often answer the phone.

Rail size is a personal thing. I prefer the 9 inch on a mid-length upper with a fixed FSB.

I went with the 9in and kept the fixed front site, all ordered and on the way, thank you for the help.

You can co-witness so that you can use both front and rear sights through your optics underneath your reticle.
