I think California states that after 10 weapons, it's an arsenal and you have to let them know you have them. . . I forgot where i read that (I saw the PC, not just from some "post") but still...

How much money does he have? That will determine his punishment.

I seriously doubt he will get a few months, if you look at the article, He scored bigtime, Federal Charges, not state! Federal Prosecutors dont care about if you are a big time star or not, look at Martha Stewart, her *** got prison time and hers was a white collar crime!

I wish there were pictures of the guns. I saw the movie ATL on HBO it wasn't that bad. I think since he's a icon of the youth that they will give him a strict punishent as an example for the youth and felons. I wonder what the outcome will be. I think he's in the new movie american gangster?

When the press is concerned, it's "after 2 weapons, and after 20 rounds of ammo" to be considered an arsenal.

I'd be interested to see that PC section. . .

I found this on his arrest affidavit:

At approximately,4:40p.m., the CW arrived and met with the U/C to observe the firearms which were actual machine guns. The CW had a further discussion about the firearms firing "fully" automatic. The CW agreed to exchange $2200 and a Bushmaster, Model C-15, .223 caliber pistol, s/n D10867 for the following firearms: an Ingram,Model M-10, 9mm caliber machine gun, s/n 2-3005561, SWD Inc., 9mm silencer, s/n N767 , a Military Armament Corp., 9mm silencer,s/n 2-2001231 , SWD Inc., Model M-l l, 9mm caliber machine gun, s/n 86-0008212, and a H&K, Model SP89,9mm caliber machine gun, s/n 2l-l74lL.

                    5. During the meeting between the U/C and the CW, the CW questioned the U/C if he (the CW) would get into trouble if law enforcement caught him in possession of the machine guns. The U/C told the CW that the firearms were not legal to possess without the proper paperwork because they had to be registered. The U/C further told the CW there would be a problem if he were caught with them. The U/C told the CW that the aforementioned firearms did not have the required legal paperwork.

Remember, there was a time that the following phrases were accepted wisdom:

                                "Jazz is not music"
