I am considering buying a molle setup for 3-gun and other "tactical" matches.
I'd be interested in opinions on the gear from www.tacticaltailor.com , especially their MAV one-piece vest, and their (non-leg) holster (I don't like to have heavy stuff on my legs). Thinking of just using the holster on the right side of the vest, and various mag pouches and shot shell holders all over the place, plus a dump bag for used mags and such.
Perhaps there are better choices? I'm not sure how high the mag pouches will sit with their vest. Looks like somewhere on your gut? They also have a "bib" addon, which allows you to put stuff even higher. I imagine this would be better for prone shooting. I guess I want to put my stuff high on my chest or on the sides of my hips, for maximum mobility.
