Compared to CA, there are no laws. This is from the enemy, but it's a good start: http://www.bradycampaign.org/legisla...tate.php?st=fl .

I believe Florida makes Arizona look kinda liberal

Read up on the "Stand your ground law" which kinda scares me... because the way I look tends to scare old folks

BE WARY though. Extremely high humidity, LOTS of old people (old people who drive), you might come off as very liberal as many religious zealots are common there, and I hear many of the cops there are total a-holes. I've NEVER met a person from Florida who didn't take copious amounts of drugs. From ecstasy to crystal meth.

Religious zealots, copious drug users and ahole cops huh?
What you were trying to say is that you really know nothing of this state, right?

Florida is a great state. Most of the people are still really kind and have that great Southern Hospitality. If you're single...the ladies here are very easy on the eyes. No state income tax! Your vote actually matters! Stand your ground laws. Another law that is interesting: If you shoot someone who is committing a violent felony, they or their family CANNOT sue you for damages! I can cash and carry any gun with my ccw...no STUPID 10 day wait! The gun shows are awesome.

High humidity/heat in summer and bad drivers are the only negatives so far. The drivers are only just a little worse than Bay Area drivers.

Go to www.floridashootersnetwork.com or arfcom local section under Florida...the gun owners and enthusiasts here are great people.

I believe Florida is also NFA friendly.

You know, there's nothing worse than yunguns who spout 2nd hand info and hearsay. JFYI, you cannot OPEN CARRY in FL., it has to be concealed, and if you print, they can get you for exposing your firearm, same with Texas.

We also have a stand your ground law on the books, same deal, cannot sue the shooter if justified.

Next time, try doing a little research before letting your fingers run wild. AZ is one of the most liberal gun states in the nation, and we like it that way

Have a great gun carryin' Kenpo day

Getting a CCW is pretty easy.

I built a power plant there and almost wound up living there in 2001-2002. I did live there in the late 70's also. Drugs are no more prevalent than here in Ca.

No problem! Let me know if you end up moving out this way too. We'll go shooting.

BTW: It's 80 degrees and 45% humidity...I think I'm gonna go to the beach.
