    Shooters Ridge bipods?

Does anyone have a SHOOTERS RIDGE bipod? Is it as good as the Harris?

I have both. The SR is fine but, you can see the differences in metal thickness, now loose it fits, and other "inexpensive" differences. The Harris is a more sturdy and solid bipod. That said, I have had no issues with the SR, the Harris is just a nicer piece.

Go with the Harris. I learned that the hard way. You can get them on sale at Midwayausa for a decent price.

I haven't had any problems with my Shooter's Ridge yet. You are right, the price is hard to beat.

Mine broke just the last range trip. Go with a harris or you will just spend more later on.

hardware tends to migrate on the non-harris bipods
                  You talking to me?

I have bought 3 (at $31 each). 2 sit on semi-autos and one on a .308 bolt gun. I haven't had any problems at all...But then I don't own a Harris...and I probably won't anytime soon because I they are almost 3 times the price.
