I don't have one, but I do like Galco.

I just bought a Brigade M-11. It is VERY comfortable and secure. It's not tuckable though so if you're like me and wear your shirt tucked in you need a cover garment.

Recommendations after a week of wearing it everyday and draw practice yesterday - get the thumbreak option if you're the active type and you do a lot of physical stuff while carrying. The holster will loosen up a bit and mine doesn't have the retention strap. ( I need to either talk to my saddler or send it back to have the strap added.)

After YEARS of searching and buying crap including galco (sorry....) there are ONLY TWO places worth my dime anymore.

        Mitch Rosen and/or Milt sparks.

They're pricey-- but you will NEVER want another holster.......
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....

I like both the galco and comp-tac slide. In my experiance wearing an IWB holster eventually will get a bit uncomfortable usually when sitting.

Around my neighborhood they just wear baggy pants and stick their gun in their pocket. They're not too quick and the draw, and one guy fell when he was running from the police and his pants fell down from the weight of the gun, but its quite the fashion statement in some circles.

I guess that we have all tried the common brands that you can always buy in the stores. The ones that are not massed produced and that you have a lead time after you order are of a quality that the store bought holsters will probably not match.

I have to side with Metalhead357. My favorites are either my Milt Sparks VMII or Watch Six (both are very comfortable) and my Alessi (their counterpart to the Watch Six).

Most IWBs concentrate the contact between your body and the holster in one specific place . . . where you holster and your body meet. Thus after a while the contact area begins to get sore. The Milt Sparks and the Alessi have a much wider area of contact so they are far more comfortable. If you have a friend that owns one, try to borrow it for one day. You will feel the difference almost right away.

Thanks for the update. I was curious about this holster. I visited their web site, they look very close to the Milt Sparks and Alessi that I own. Its good to have the voice of experience giving us their opinions.

I tell ya' i was SUPER worried about not having a retention strap; but went with one without it and have not looked back. Just got back of 4 days of hiking-n-hunting and was starting to worry about it again....but NO problems whatsoever............... Going on two years with the combo of gun and holster and she aint <too> loose by any means of the word. the gun stays in and the holster stays where you put it---ALMOST annoyingly so when you'd actually think it should slide.

Would I buy another? YOU BETCHA!

Brigade quoted me 15 weeks lead time because they make most of their holsters one at a time. Especially for uncommon pistols (like my S&W 6906). Since most everyone likes plastic these days the holster makers tend to stockpile holsters for Glockbusters. I received my holster in 5 weeks instead of the 15 quoted.

It still retains the pistol very well (almost too well) but I'm very very active and tend to do a lot of strange things while wearing my weapon which could lead to it falling out without the retention strap. (I bounce, get sideways and almost upside down sometimes) If you're just a regular guy who isn't very physically active then you'd probably be fine without one. Apparently I wasn't thinking when I ordered mine.

$103 including shippiing ain't cheap but the holster will last a very long time.

I have enjoyed the Ted Blocker/LFI rig. It comes with leather IWB holster with velcro attachment and a belt that is lined with velcro. You can attach the holster almost any way you can think of. I carried a Glock 23 with spare magazine and it concealed very well even though I am of small stature.

If you prefer kydex, I can highly reccommend Jim Murnak and his line of thin kydex holsters.

There are two holster makers I primarily use. Milt Sparks for my leather needs, and Comptac for my Kydex needs. IMO Comp-tac makes some of the best kydex out there, and they're a FANTASTIC company to deal with. They'll go out of their way sometimes to help you, and what other holster maker gives you candy while you fiddle with your holster?

Comptac is my recommendation. Infidel for IWB, and regular beltslide for OWB.
