    Just got a Glock30sf....my FIRST glock :D

The only handguns I've ever owned is 1911 (kimber) and 357/38spl revolvers (S&W, Ruger, Armscor).

I picked up a Glock for the hell of it. Got a 30sf.

I got it for CCW, but its a fat brick. Gonna have to figure out where I can stash it best. The grip does not feel as natural or comfortable as my 1911 or my revolvers, but this gun is lighter in weight and holds more rounds.

It feels like I got a lego block with a trigger in my hands. Can't wait to try it out, though I'm sure the technique to shooting this thing accurately is a bit different from my 1911 or revolvers.

Not really. Great sidearm and it can run G21 mags. Enjoy....

I just got one myself 2 weeks ago. This is my first glock as well. It is different from my 1911 & revolvers. Shoots well and very manageable for the size vs caliber, even my girlfriend enjoyed shooting it. I went on vacation last week in AZ and carried it all week. Depending on my activities that day I either carried in a belly band holster or a cheap kydex IWB holster. Both worked well but I did order a supertuck holster which should be more comfortable. I'm pleased with it as a carry gun.

Actually I only think you need the barrel conversion and mags. It should fit into the same slide.

I can hold this much more comfortably with that modern IPSC/isosceles grip. My Kimber I can only shoot accurately with weaver grip.

Yes, like it'll never happen. 1911 with a good trigger... no Glock is ever going to come close IMO.

That said, I sold all my 1911s and own only Glock semi-autos and revolvers now.

In the end, they're defensive weaponry for me. And I don't have time to go shooting at the range for fun anymore.

I love my Glock 30 which i've had since they first came out. It's a fat gun but it shoots well, handles well and tucks neatly next to my fat belly.

I bought a Glock G30sf about two years ago and just love it. It always groups tight and has a controllable recoil. Even with +P ammo. I chose this model because I was thinking, If a kalifornia law was saying that I cant have a handgun that will hold more that 10 rounds, then Im going to make damn sure there the biggest bullets I can stuff in it.....

                          Same reasoning as me!

                          Never owned a 9mm. All I gots are 45s and 357mags.

                            I went from 10mm, .45, 357sig, .40, & 9mm to .40, 9mm, 38spl

Working on moving everything to 9mm & .38. Cheaper to practice with, less recoil, better accuracy for me at longer distances.

Won't move from 12 gauge to .410 for some reason though...
