I think it has to be 50yrs and older . For ftf sale . And must not be on the banned list . Like a old orignal Ak(illegal). But a Mosin, Mauser , are ok . What kind of rifle are you selling that would help alot. A tranfer isnt bad at your local gunstore the person receiving it can pay for that. -
msand951 is correct - if the rifle was manufactured before 1961, that is, if it is 50 years old or older, then no FFL is needed.
