I bought a broken shotgun for $50. Put a $3 spring in it & resold it for $120. C&R Baby!Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

A High Standard shotgun in an estate sale for $35 (back when you could still do that). I bought it and still have it.I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment

I bought a SxS 12g frontloader for $10 at a gunshow a few years ago. I have a NIB RG revolver with a $19.95 price tag on it. I have aquired more than a few guns for FREE. I've bought a 20g shotgun for $35 from a newpaper add. I bought a Enfield .303 for $30 once. I've even splurged on a $49 M44 from Big5.
Uh, you still can sell +50 year old long guns at estate sales without having to go through a FFL. So, "back when you could still do that" could mean "this last Saturday".Last edited by CSACANNONEER; 09-07-2011, 4:02 PM.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor
