NRA phone calls

I haven't bought any guns in quite awhile, almost 12 years , and then recently I got back into it. Made my first purchase serveral months back and now I'm getting calls from the NRA wanting me to take part in some survey. This can't be a coincidence, I have never gotten these calls before. Last three nights the NRA shows on my caller ID and I caught part of a pre-recorded message from the NRA on my answering machine. I have never given my info to the NRA and whats even stranger is that these calls are coming to my landline home number. For all the buys I've made I have always used my cell number for the paperwork. Anybody know what the deal is here? I don't have any problem with the NRA but these calls are annoying and I'd like to know if my recent purchases are related to this and who gave them my info. (and yes my home number is registered with the DNC registry)
