GSG 1911 in 22LR

I have plans of getting the GSG 1911 in 22LR and looking for any inputs about this gun. I wants to hear it from those who have/had it if how does it work? Turners is having a sale w/ this gun till mid september ( I think) and if feedback here is good I might get it. Reason for buying is just or plinking.

Lots of threads on this. Do a search for GSG or GSG1911.

Most of the reviews are very positive and highly recommended. However, most of the bad reviews that I've seen are from the newer models with different/cheaper parts used (H-style guide rod, etc).
