black chrome...

want to get a pistol dipped in black chrome, purly for cosmetics, dont shoot it much lol. anyone see any problems with this ( too soft of a finish, etc) and anyone know where to get this done at? i think it will look good with black mother of pearl grips.... browning hi power....

I had my chrome job done at Accurate Plating & Weaponry and liked the results. They do offer black chroming, which is still supposed to be a hard finish, but not as hard as normal chroming due to chemical differences to make it black.
