    600 Guns For Sale

Okay first off let me put this out there. This is not a for sale thread. I am not selling any guns.

My uncle recently passed away and left his gun collection of over 600 guns, 15 gun safes, bows, and collection of knifes in the hands of my cousin. My cousin does not know a lot about guns and is having a hard time trying to figure out where to price these guns.

Does anyone know where or how to have these guns priced?? He is already keeping some for himself and family members but still wants to sell to pay for the cost of taxes and funeral for his father.

IS there a website that will calculate pricing for each weapon or has a list we can scan through to find the prices???

    Buy this book

Available on Amazon if you can't find it locally
    Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

I would be interested in making some purchases. I need two safes for sure.

You might as well provide your relative some help with the sales so he does not get taken. Put together a list of items and post in it in the appropriate slot.

my $.02.....with any kind of inheritance collection there is a pretty basic fork in the road....are you going to take the time to sell these things, or are you going to find someone to consign, buy the bulk lot...The first option would get you better prices but would also be a part time to full time job....the second option will cut your sales in value considerably but you can pass on the responsibility...

But I guess you have already thought of this....I can't even imagine the work of trying to off load 600 guns...

For option two I might post in the FFL forum...

          I'll take it.

From my experience, it's better off getting a consignor to send everything off to auction if your cousin doesn't have the time, energy, or knowledge to liquidate the collection. Have had to get rid of a lot of assets within my family lately and that is how we have managed to get rid of things we can't manage on our own.

Then again, six hundred guns priced right will move fast here.

I think you should look up pricing and then make that massive WTS 600+ Guns thread. It'd be amazing.

                        Waiting for super sale thread...

Find an auction house that deals exclusively in firearms would be my suggestion, for a quantity like that i am sure they would travel to get them too.

                              this.

there is a firearms auction that runs a couple times a year in the Azusa area that should be able to help, http://www.gunslingerauctions.com/ . next auction is Sept 17, so it might be cutting it close to get it all inventoried for that auction.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
