    current high cap mag laws

question the law that bans high cap mags is it ever gonna expire or is it permanant ?
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774_1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

It isn't going away anytime soon. I believe it's permanent.

If you would watch the 2A forum you would know there is already a plan in motion to neutralize this law.

Not any more "lame" than the 10-day waiting period that you and the Brady Campaign think is such a great idea.
            Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.
