    Which rifle-related (print) magazine/publication?

    Hey everyone,

I was wondering what would be a good magazine to subscribe to that's related to rifles? I am specifically interested in rifle range shooting (like silhouette, bench, etc.), but also interested in the current production of rifles as well as older rifles be it the Henry rifle or the pre-'64 Winchester Model 70's. I wouldn't mind reading a bit about handguns as well, but my primary interest is rifles.

I've done some looking around online, and a lot of people seem to like the "Rifle" magazine (http://www.riflemagazine.com/magazin...x.cfm?magid=78), how's that one?

    Thanks!

rifle and handloader are my two favorite magazines.. almost all others pale in consideration....

I get both, American Handgunner, Guns, and Combat handguns...

    I've cancelled all others...

been a firearms instructor for over 30 years... rifle and handloader continue to keep me interested..

      Thanks for the reply!

I'm probably going to subscribe to Rifle.. however I also found Guns magazine (http://www.gunsmagazine.com/).. what sort of material is covered in that magazine? Is that worth a subscription?

American Rifleman starts with the Armed Citizen column. Best page in any mag every month and yes I buy them all. Sure is a good read every month, although last months' 1911 Centennial issue was a bit too much 1911 for this Glock lover.

I've subscribed to probably 6 publications over the years, and my current favorites are Guns and Shooting Times. I get Guns and Ammo also, but it seems to be more of an extended advertisement.

I subscribed to "Rifle" and "Handloading" for years, dropped them recently because I felt like I'd seen it all before. Good mags, I just got bored.

This one is a bit more specialized: http://precisionshooting.com/

I get American Rifleman as part of my NRA life membership. You should be an NRA member anyway, the mag is a bonus.

I am always satisfied with my digital NRA National Rifleman. Occassionally I'll look at Guns & Ammo and if I'm really bored or it is free I'll read Soldier of Fortune
