Read in the newspaper today that so far, 2 individuals have been arrested at Ontario IA (California) for carrying concealed-loaded weapons on carry-on baggage. Is it just stupid can't be cured - or do these idiots think they can get away with it? How many stories about this have happened in this country, this week alone?

dunno if it is legal anywhere else. If you can't get a Carry license here in CA, but you need it because your life is in danger, then what are you going to do? I am not advocating that we should break the law (which i always obey); that is a personal choice . You can either become a victim or do what you gotta do and hope for the best.

What's the max penalty for something like this? Thought that was bad, you shouldve read that thread I posted awhile back of an old friend deciding to use is dartboard in his apartment as target practice for his new Stoeger shotgun.

Heres another gun owner of the year award, good friend who works in the film industry, was going to Bill Clintons house (of all places). And with his boss. He goes through the security line and they find in his work briefcase a glock mag with hollowpoints. Apparently he lost the mag a few years ago, and was late to work and grabbed his hold briefcase. All in all he just got a warning and they confiscated it.

Well i think the laws are not just at the moment. It is damn near impossible to get a CCW in los angeles. Yet criminals will still carry because they don't care about the law. Who is this hurting.... us, the law abidding citizens.

I'm not saying those guys were smart and made the right decision to carry without a permit. But i believe the gun laws need to be changed to where if your a law abidding citizen you should be able to get a ccw.
