    I couldn't agree more...

I sold a Postal Meter M1 Carbine and lots of old access, for $500.00, because I was hurting for money. All I can think about now is how fun the gun was...

MANY of my guns and and alot of the accessories came from my father, for that reason alone I wouldn't sell any of those. A few that I purchased I'm not too attached to and wouldn't mind selling them (Mosins, etc.)

For the most part, I'm lucky that my dad had the interest in the guns that he did and I was really fortunate to be able to grow up around firearms. I put shooting on the back burner for a while after my dad died but I'm glad to be back in it... it brings back, and creates great memories.

I should have added to my post. That I never sell a gun unless it's to buy a better one. If you do you end up with no gun and no money. I do buy guns I have no use for other than selling.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

              I miss my Luger.

I used to say I wouldn't sell any of my guns.

Now I have a couple of expensive project guns that I really want to finish and I have been tempted to sell other previously off-limits guns like my P7M10 unfired in the box with all acessories. I am at a point where I may need to thin the herd a bit.

              Very difficult decisions

I purchased my first pistol just about 2 years ago. It was a 1911 like the one my dad has. I brought it over to show him, it felt like we finally found something we both enjoy. In the last two years, I've purchased 9 or 10 firearms, and he's purchased probably 15. We don't even know whos is whos anymore. They go to whoever has the most room in the safe at the time.

I'm so attached to all of them, mostly because this is a father/son thing. But sometimes I'll buy a gun just because he likes it, and he has done the same for me as well. He took one of my sequential serial numbered Stag ARs for safekeeping, and I'm still trying to get my hands on his Kimber.

I couldn't ever sell any of them. And I can't imagine what I'll do when hes gone.
