Simmons Predator Quest scope

If anyone has got one of these in 4.5-18.I would appreciate some advice on them.I ordered one from Midway and it will be here next week.I have options to try it on a Rem700 223 SPS or a AR15>The Rem has a Leupold dovetail mount on it already.Simmons,Midway give no dimensions on the scope bell.I need to know how high the 30mm rings need to be,if mounted on the Rem.I would thank you ahead of time for a response.
