Duncan's in Escondido, Discount Gun Mart in San Diego, and Ranger Doug's in Ramona are your best options. All can have long wait times depending on the work, and/or may not be taking on new work. Best to call around. Sights are fairly simple. There are plenty of YouTube videos to guide you. You may want to consider doing the work yourself.

      Thank you for the info.

Not sure I want to "BANG on" a new gun to do the sights.

I could do the DCAEK work no problem; however, I have to admit I am concerned if there are any LEGAL issues when gun is also used for self / home defense. Am I legally safer if a GS did the work?

I added the APEX Ram kit to my M&P 40 and had to remove the magazine disconnect. The APEX DCAEK kit might be a little harder since you have to remove the rear sight to complete the kit. I would pass it off to the smith for functioning purposes. Technically, you can modify the gun to any spec you want as long as it doesn't go full auto .

Also, if you are unfortunate to use your weapon in a self/home defense, any modifications would be considered in the case, and may look bad. If you are lucky to get a conceal carry license, I would not modify the gun. For home defense, use a shot gun. Hopefully, you scare the crap out of the intruder versus shooting.
If you want peace, prepare for war.

California Police Equipment at El Cajon Blvd. & Marlboroug has a certified armorer who does solid work. He works on a lot of guns for LEO's. No long wait for repair work either.

Thank You. I have bought stuff from them before, but didn't think about them as GS shop.

Oooo, good catch! I'm so used to going up the 15 through Escondido that I forget it is actually in San Marcos.

Don Gussler of Gussler's in Santee has done a couple jobs for me, but expect a long wait.
