    costa mesa vs ontario

How does the CM gunshow compare to Ontario? I've been to the Ontario one a couple times.

Costa Mesa is MUCH larger. Though that means more booths for gun accessories, it also means more random booths like beef jerky and BBQ seasoning.

I personally enjoy the Costa Mesa one much more since theres food stands. I enjoy my shopping while drinking my beer bought at "Beers of the World".

Ive been the Ontario show twice so far and the costa mesa show countless times. The first time I went to the Ontario show I told myself I would never return there ever again. Went there a second time and facepalmed myself. Costa Mesa has alot more WW2 era weapons there and just more of everything in general. They also have more selection of food to eat for lunch. Ontario is like a giant swap meet with veeery little weapons. I'm tired of Costa Mesa now though after seeing the same stuff everytime.

Ontario show sucks! and I live a few blocks from it. Costa mesa has powders, primers where ontario prohibits them for sale at the convention center. That reason alone is why I go to Costa mesa

Costa mesa is about 4 times the size of ontario. FD regs prohibit powder/primer sales indoors, however a few booths will get set up outdoors that handle primers/powder.

Just got back CM is much bigger/better than Ontario. Got a set of near new looking rcbs 38/357 dies for $25, some h110 $20, and a frog lube kit $35. Of course then my son and I got lunch for $20 but the rice bowls were decent.

Went there today had a good time. Picked up a texas firestarter for 10 bucks and a fleece watch cap from codor for 5 bucks at california competition booth.

I always eat something before I go into the show or wait until I'm done to go eat.
