Sons of Guns = lame

I'm sitting here watching Sons of Guns and overall the show is entertaining....but....

They keep giving bad information on the show. A guy came in with an AR and wanted it converted to left side ejection. The guy that works at Red Jacket kept saying that firing a normal AR left handed would "get you a face full of brass". Bull$@#$. They even had a little animation when he was saying it, showing spent brass flying almost directly backward....ignoring the brass deflector all together. I shoot an AR left handed and have never had a piece of brass touch my face. Even when I've fired old M-16A1s, that didn't have a brass deflector, I only had a piece of brass graze my cheek one time.

Second....on the next episode...a guy, who was supposed to be the expert....was asked what the rate of fire was on a Mk-19 grenade launcher they were working on. He said "About 10 rounds a second"......BZZZZZZZT....wrong. Not even close. Don't these guys fact check before they air the show?

Sons of Guns = lame. Can't even get through a full episode and I've honestly tried a few times. Hopefully they didn't rape the guy that wanted a left side eject conversion, he could have just bought a Stag upper and been done.

I have neve rbeen able to watch an entire episode of "Sons who shouldn't play with guns".

BTW, I'm a lefty and I own several RH ARs. I've never been hit in the face by my own brass in all the thousands of rounds I've run through them.

lame , yes.. but at least its a gun related show on primetime its better then the normal lame reality show( i think all the reality shows are lame ....), and educating some folks that guns are not all bad so yes lame , but in my opinion good for guns none the less.. i still know ppl here in cali that swear you can not own a MG or suppressor anywhere in the U.S.A. unless you are LEO or military ....
