I did a ppt on a handgun today. I have a ccw and walked into the shop with my carry gun concealed on my belt meet the guy I was buying the gun from there and had to leave the new gun in jail for the 10 days, with my work schedule 14, and walked out with my concealed gun still on me. this just irks me I should not have to wait, no one should.

Agreed. I think the ten day wait for anything but one's first handgun wouldn't even pass a rational basis test. It's a stupid law among many stupid laws. Its really for your own good. The 10 day wait prevents you from harming.yourself based on a rash spur of the moment decision. Some time to cool down is what is needed. Big brother doesn't want you hurting yourself, it's crucial that you recognize they know what's best.

I'm sure they would be happy to change the law about the waiting period. All you would have to do is fill out a form for a national ID card and register every gun you buy with the FBI.
