Do you have a Go To Gun?

This isnt an end of the world...... Scrub that, this is an end of the world thread. But do you have a go to gun? Its your baby, your right hand, and no matter what you do, you know you can pull that puppy from the safe and make things happen, you could put food on the table, defend yourself, and get out of dodge with the same weapon.... anyone got that one? and what is it?

CZ-75 SP-01 is on my hip when I'm at home and my go to rifle would be my Retro ar-15. I feel proficient enough with the Ar-15 to take deer, considering the only ones around here are Blacktail the size of my dog and I can hit steel at 400 yards without much trouble.

I used to keep a pair of Browning P35s (Hi Power) pistols about---now its a pair of HK USPf 9mm with pre-ban 15 rd mags---I trust these pistols to work 100% of the time!

depends what I need to do...if I'm clearing my house my go to gun is a Colt Commander, if I need to protect my property, my AR-15, if I need to put food on the table my gun depends on what kind of food I'm shooting at, most everything in these parts I can take down with my Commander or Govt though

P229 hides and carry easily, esp when you are carrying all your survival gears. 9mm is also a relatively common ammo type to find if I ever run low.

if i am bugging out i would take my sub2k.

if i am defending my property, getting my friends and fiance out of the city, or patrolling i would choose my sks

if you think about it, it is great

                            no magazines to worry about
carry more 10 round stipper clips ( or at least i can)
                            i am accurate with it

powerful round and scary folding spike

Ruger P89, first pistol I ever purchased, and I've never had to replace a part, or had a memorable problem in thousands of rounds fired... And my SKS, again, thousands of rounds, no problems, no need to replace a part...
