unless he needs some quick money fast, "dumping" a whole lot of items is basically asking to get ripped off by the dealers. You won't get anything close to what you would've gotten had he sold them off individually. spend some time and list the items here in the classifieds. Also consider just hanging on to anything that he can legally bring over to CA.

yes have him make a list and some prices he thinks that are fair. Most people will buy up most of his stuff here especially sorts of OLL guns.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a gun store in Reno that will buy miscellaneous mags, optics, guns, ammo, etc. My brother is moviong here and just wants to dump everything before coming to CA... any thoughts? I don't know if this is the right forum for this question...

From what you put here, most wouldnt have an issue comming to Cali. Depending on what guns he has might be the issue, Ammo, Mags, Optics are all legal....

25 bucks to ship any gun at UPS with no hassels it is very simple. If there is a gun that is no CA approved just sell it to someone where it is legal might have to ship.

I just don't want to piece meal it... my brother really doesn't want to meet people in Reno in the business of buying guns once, much less a bunch of times! I'd appreciate any leads you might be able to send over and am open to offers... the sale needs to be on the up and up in NV...

besides the GSG and that 10' AR upper everything else is fine in CA, all he would have to do is turn the 10+ mags into parts kits and he is good to go to bring it here.
