    Cheap, nondescript, low key guncases

I went with the little lady down to tuesday morning and spotted some neat deals that I think you guys might want to take advantage of.

These First Act soft cases are ideal for a full sized rifle, they have an extra pocket that fits magazines, and they have backpack straps that allow you to sling the rifle over your back if you need to take it on the motorcycle.

Also when your neighbors see you go off to 'practice' they won't be freaked out and call the cops.

14.99 + sales tax each... You guys might want to check into them.

The gears of war patch I snagged at Hot Topic in the mall, I was looking for a lead zeppelin patch.. but I couldnt find one.

My evil master plan is to cut out a stiff backing material (probably stiff plastic) and attach closed cell foam to it in the shape of a guitar, then put cutouts for the rifle and a few mags. It passes as a guitar as is, but I'd rather have a bit more foam to make it poof out a bit further.

I'll add some velcro straps to keep everything in place and hide the stitching with oddball band patches....

    Keep the peace.

    You rock, thanks.
    It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Sweet! There's one of those stores a few blocks from where I live, and I haven't had a reason to go there. Now I do!

This is really all the antis have? I suppose they expected the second amendment to list full names and social security numbers!

I've been meaning to do something very much like this for a while now.

There's a legal concern about a gun case designed to conceal the nature of the contents. Violin cases are a no-no. I guess a guitar case is the same.

I believe that has only to do with a case that conceals a gun and is designed to fire while concealed. I'll get some code to cite and edit later.
