Transfer at Blueline ammo in Ventura

Hello Cal Gunners,

I thought I should write about my wonderful experience I had with Blueline Ammo & Accessories in Ventura, CA.

I purchased a Springfield 1911 MC Operator from buds. Blueline called me as soon as they received it. (other shops around here don't) They held it for 30 days (without a single problem) for the fact that I had Dros'd a new firearm a few days before that. Their service is outstanding. I use to be a loyal customer to Uncle Pauls, but I haven't had any more good experiences with them. Blueline Ammo is the place for me now. They acknowledge you as soon as you walk through that door, they just don't "ignore" you while having 7+ people behind the desk doing nothing! (uncle pauls)

The purpose of this is if anyone thinks about doing business with Blueline Ammo in Ventura, do not hesitate! Everything will go super smooth, you will feel comfortable and most of all they will take care of you. Really cool guys.

I haven't done business with either of them yet but have visited both shops a couple of times. I thought I received prompt and friendly attention at both shops. I'm glad to see multiple shops in Ventura now. I hope they'll all be successful.

I just wanted to clear something up...
I am an employee at Uncle Paul's and for a small store we can get pretty busy and sometimes we can get tied up. I apologize for any issues you may have had, and wish you luck with any store you choose to shop. I myself have referred customers to other local gun stores if they had a product we didn't carry.

Also, we don't have 7 employees. There are days where we have 4 employees up front, but most of the time its just 2 of us.

I've been to Blueline and they have a nice shop and the staff treats you well as noted above.


But I have to stick up for Uncle Paul's also. It's a smaller place and there may be a crowd waiting, but they are good to deal with also.


Let's be glad we have good local vendors and support them all when we can.

Both shops are fine. I have spent over 500 in each in the last year or so... I bought my Glock at UP, but I have purchased other stuff at BL. One is a large shop, with all the pros and conss that come with it... the other is a small shop with all the pros and cons that comes with that.
