    What countries allow gun ownership?

What countries in the world allow gun ownership?
    What countries allow open/concealed cary?
Something similar to our rights to own. Multiples n'such.

and our leaders allow themselves to be spoon fed with foreign BS and have forgotten that the great majority of americans do not live in secluded gated comunities with private security 24/7 like they do, while the rest of us are subject to defending ourselves without Police escorts whenever we need it. they dont realize we are subject to different dangers than they are, and we must have and keep the right do defend ourselves!

Stationed in Germany in mid 70s; they were only allowed to own shotguns for hunting. (Saw a guy with a dbl barrel w/scope). Only other weapon I saw was a pistol shooter (competition). The Army had all the big guns.

Gun ownership in Brazil is hard. Anything bigger than .380 is military only and the price of firearms is prohibitive ( over $2k for a pistol).
Most of the stuff you see is shotgun. A carry licence needs autho from the DOD and several tests (psycho...) are needed.
In the other hand, it is super easy and a lot cheaper to buy a gun from the streets.

Generally, handguns in the Czech Republic are available to anybody above 21 years of age (18 or 16 years in some cases) with a clean criminal history who passes tests about gun law and weapon knowledge and a medical inspection (which may optionally include psychological test). Gun ownership is also acceptable for self-defense purposes.
The ownership and use of firearms in Finland is regulated by the country's Firearms Act of 1998. Weapons are individually licensed by local police forces, however there is no limit on the number of licenses an individual may hold. Licenses are granted for recreational uses, exhibition or (under certain circumstances) professional use.
In 1972 the Federal Weapons Act revised much of the regulations.

Under this act Germany maintains a two-tier policy to firearm ownership. A firearms ownership license allows for the purchasing of weapons by those over the age of 18 who meet various competency/trustworthiness guidelines. Convicted felons, those with a mental disability or those deemed unreliable are denied licenses. The second tier is a firearms carry permit which allows concealed or open carry in public.
        Mexico has strict gun laws.
And they're working out so well for them.

The top 5 in 2007 are the US, Serbia, Yemen, Switzerland and Cyprus.

A lot of countries allow gun ownership, but you'll have to jump through a lot of hoops first.

          Concealed/open carry? Very, very few.

The philippines is not bad. From what I know, You have to get lisence/register the guns etc. HOWEVER! F/A Is very much legal. No restrictions on magazine capacity, SBR, SBS, Etc. No Crew served weapons are allowed however -Belt fed.- I think you can get a permit to CC but I am not sure. There is waiting periods but Another CG'ers Friend in the philippines has aquired 6 MG's This year. I will post more information later.
