Good evening all. I'm a frequent reader & small time poster but I'm on vacation, walked the strip, had a few drinks & find myself in a talkative mood. Here goes...
Went to a crossroads show at the Cashman center here in Vegas. Not too big, smaller than Ontario show. I noticed quite a few differences from California gun shows. No one selling bullet buttons, ten round mag limiters, no bat grips for your pistol grip etc. I don't think I saw one ten round mag. Not to mention what we would consider evil hi cap mags were modestly priced around $15. That's right $15, not $45 for a rebuild kit or a ten round mag. These people seemed to love handguns. I don't think I've seen this many handguns in one place. New, used. All out on display to touch!! No glass cases. Tables with persons filling out paperwork. I think they might have even been going home with their new wares same day. I don't know Nevada laws, however when I was leaving the guard asked me if I had a gun in my case.
What does all this mean?? Oh boy it sucks to live in Kalifornia. Does a ten round limit actually make a difference in the crime rate?? If the North Hollywood shooters had ten rounds would they have been stopped sooner? Or a bullet button would have been the game changer.
Question for my fellow responsible Americans... Why do responsible, law abiding, hard working, tax paying, gun owners such as ourselves have to pay the price for the mistakes of the few & deranged? Why are we being stripped of our rights, however at the same time being forced to accept that alternative lifestyles will be taught to our children without our consent. Why, why, why???
Has my rant gone too far?? Probably, however I'm tired of trying to type on my iPhone so I'll wrap it up. Bye!!
