Worst and best firearms purchases from a practical view

Worst: Walther PPK/S, sort of a good choice at the time but the niche it filled no longer exist.

Best: Ruger 10/22, after a heavy barrel and a little trigger work.

That was hard to narrow down especially the worst, I have bought a lot of mediocre to crap guns and only a couple of really sweet ones.
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Worst: Easy, my 3rd 870 Wingmaster configured very similarly to the first two. I've only brought it out twice because well... I always forget about it. There's nothing practical about 3 shotguns all configured the same way.

Best: Glock 34. It's just an all around easy to shoot, lightweight gun chambered in easy to find 9mm.

ive never had a bad firearms purchase. I think the worst was a hk4 pistol. buffer broke off the bat, and I lost the buffer plate. bought a new buffer 2 years ago and just last week got a buffer plate. 5 years lost without a functional pistol, but the price was right

Not that I would ever purchase one of these, but my friend had a Hi-Point .45 that fired exactly one round before a disabling malfunction. Pure junk.

The best? I'm scratching my head and I can't seem to pick one out. There are so many GOOD firearms.

Best -LH Winchester Model 70 Classic Safari Express in 375 H&H. I bought mine from the last production run that Winchester made in 2004.

Worst- Savage 93 in 17HMR. I live in the condor zone so the 17HMR isn't a viable choice for varminting.

Revolver and Lever Gun chambered in 357, 44, or 45 would be the most practical IMO.

Worst: 1968 unfired 1911, haven't been able to decide to sell/trade it or shoot it, so in that sense it just sits. I however, do not regret buying it, I just see it as by far the least practical gun I have bought and probably ever will.

Best: Beretta AL391, gets used the most by far and is needed to hunt

Best: Glock 26 for my girlfriend's 21st on the 2nd. Nothing could've been better then her smile.

Worst: Lorcin .380 From a friend for about 40 Bucks. Jam-o-matic! Sits in the safe now. I guess itd be better then nothing, Maybe I'll give it to someone who needs protection one day.

Make sure it's someone you really dont care about.

Worst: the ones that I didn't get and now are illegal or outlandishly expensive.
