I know this probably discuss before but hear me out. I just bought my TacSol .22 upper from BDM last month and finally took it to the range today. The upper shoot very well, no FTE nor FTF but their are two problem that i'm experiencing atm is every mag. it fail to rest the hammer and it does double shot in one trigger pull. Is it a bolt, trigger kit or ammo that is causing this? I can't seem to figure it out. Ammo used is walmart Federal 550, lpk is i think Stag or DPMS can't remeber. I don't lube it to death just a little spray of Rem. oil. Any suggestion?

Sounds like you have the trigger disconnector spring installed upside down. Does it fire one round when you pull the trigger and one when you release it? Who assembled the lower receiver? What do you mean " it fails to rest the hammer"?Last edited by 818gtiguy; 08-06-2011, 10:11 AM. -
I'll take note of that, I assemble the lower reciever myself. It'll shoot one round in one trigger pull but in every mag i'll get 2 round in one pull and while releasing the trigger. What i mean when i say fail to rest the hammer is it doesn't cock back the hammer all the time so I'll have to cock the hammer manually so i'm not sure if the trigger spring is too stiff and should i go for a ligther spring?Last edited by 1clicc; 08-06-2011, 10:46 AM.Comment

It is probably the lower and it is probably the disconnecter spring.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

Nothing in the upper would make the hammer fall twice, its only function is to cock the hammer. As stated, the problem is with your disconnector system, that holds the trigger in the cocked position when the trigger is pulled rearward and the bolt cycles. When you let the trigger forward, the disconnector releases the hammer and then it stops on the nose of the trigger. You gun is not doing that, the disconnector is releasing too soon and missing the trigger. Upside down spring is the usual problem, but improperly machined trigger group pieces (hammer, trigger, disconnector) can do it as well.Comment
