Believe it or not, not every person in the sales industry is a shyster. And not every negative experience deserve your own boycott.
wrong. Its called "critical thinking". For kids its called "chicken little". This is the type of behavior and way of thinking we all need to avoid. A shop or FFL exhibiting this level of FAILURE needs to be outed.

HK is NOT selling full autos. A store is NOT about to ship a firearm with full auto parts inside to a random guy in another state. The people who think they have found something no one else has are normally so freaking out of touch with reality they endanger the people around them.

I'm sorry for this OP, but he has found a shop with a freak running it. Like the FFL who called the ATF because an AR15 without a pistol grip allows the safety to spin...= must be a way to make a full auto or nuclear explosion so instead of asking questions and staying within common sense it must be time to call the ATF... the AG and DoJ while serving a search warrant and calling the local news.....

        Wrong what?

A different point of view is not wrong, it's a different way to view the situation. If you know that I am wrong, then you must be personally involved in whats happening at the FFL to know for sure. Are you? Probably not, so please stop assuming the world is perfect and claiming that any hint of imperfection deserve a boycott.

I have a two receivers there also. A m1 carbine and a billet magpul style lower and they gave me one dros for free. So just $75 for both. $35 to ship the HK back.

TY, had to ship it back and have another FFL to take care of it.
Been to your store to PPT my old NIB JLD to another guy on here. Good experience at your store. Just don't live that close now.

have fun. how about outing the FFL so we can all avoid this guy.
LOL!The store has cool stuff, that's why I went with them since I've been there before. I can understand their side of it, it's their business not mine. They sell ammo in cerritos. It's good to read other stores have these on their shelves to sell. Just a shame I had to throw away $70 or so in the end..
Not losing sleep over it, just want to take it to the range already!!!

I wouldn't discount the fact that there is a possibility of whats said above can happen. Back when the scar first showed up to kommifornia and I was in a local shop that just recieved a scar in. I totally over heard a few of the employees behind the counter discussing on that they were going to take the scar for a test drive as soon as they got some mags in. I was on the other side of the aisle so they thought no customers was around. Gun shops in kommifornia doesn't hold honorably to what you may think.

Would love to know a name as to who to avoid in future transactions... I hate nothing more than being screwed with because of a shop's ignorance.

I once spent almost two hours doing a PPT on a perfectly legal sawed-off coach gun. Plopped it on the counter and was met with 'get that thing out of here'. They refused, threatened, stalled.... "That isn't legal". "The owner won't transfer that". "He is in a meeting with some CHP, maybe they would like to see this.." I stood my ground and said I don't care who he calls or what he does, he WILL transfer the firearm as he is required to. While he processed every other transaction and customer around me, it took a total of two hours for him to call CADOJ to ask if it was legal to transfer a break-action, pistol-gripped shotgun with a barrel 18+ inches and 26+ inches in OAL.

Point being, I wouldn't walk away with an answer of sorry charlie, too f'n bad... They owe you shipping at the very least, and that doesn't do anything for the inconvenience they caused.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Sounds like that gun store doesn't hold honorably. You must also consider that it's just BS talk. Myself and my coworkers constantly talk about taking out customers guns for a test shoot, we'll even say it right to the customer but all of it is in a joking manner.
