OK I'll rephrase, there is no way that rifle has a FA trigger group in it.
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

Interesting, but that rifle is still legal. The whole thread points to that.

Ew. in any case, sounds like the FFL will not transfer it to you until s/he feels comfortable, whether that comes from a CADOJ letter, or otherwise.
I would try and move the item to another FFL.

The only thing worse than a mis-educated, unwilling FFL are our stupid laws to begin with.

The FFL didn't want to dros it or send it to another FFL in CA that will transfer it so I had to pay for the shipping back to the out of state store.

Then will have to have it sent back to a FFL that has these for sale or transfered these before.. sigh..

If they knew you were sending it to them and they said okay then changed their mind, the shipping should have been on them. Oh well, it shouldn't be too hard to find another dealer that will transfer one.

If the firearm is in fact CA illegal, wouldn't the FFL be in violation of being in possession of an illegal firearm? Which i assume is just as bad as selling an illegal firearm.

If you have trouble with your current FFL, as long as the weapon truly is legal, you can have it transferred over to us and we'll take care of you.

this. There is something wrong here. the FFL is doing something shady. There is no way HK is sending Full auto parts in firearms. The FFL is giving you this runaround for other reasons. Most likely they screwed something up on your firearm and are waiting to get the replacement part to fix the rifle or the chi-com parts to swap out with your real HK parts...

have fun. how about outing the FFL so we can all avoid this guy.

Or one of the employees got curious about any true differences in HK's "revolutionary" piston design and wanted to see if there was any difference in their lower instead of just the upper like most systems and discovered something he believed was illegal and raised up a flag to keep his store from possibly getting into trouble or shut down.

Believe it or not, not every person in the sales industry is a shyster. And not every negative experience deserve your own boycott.
