John just discussed a letter from a calgunner in the LEO section regarding the fullerton beatings. I missed the beginning of the segment, but the second half seemed unflattering to Calgun members.
I usually endorse their tax revolt reporting, but I don't get the feeling that John is 2A friendly.

If I misinterprepted their report, I apologize.

I must have missed that part, when i tuned in they were talking about the 1 "eye'ed cop" posting on youtube.

But i can say they do support CCW as I've heard them talk about it before.....

John comes across as moderately hostile to guns and gun rights and has for years. I like their stance on immigration and taxes but IMO they proved they're phonies with the tax protest that they promoted in Fullerton. They got thousands to come out and join in but as the show was over John & Ken left. They didn't bother to stay even another hour to keep up the energy around the issue and show seriousness - they bailed as soon as the show was over.

I suspect that it comes from his dislike of people. Ken has in the past said that John does not socialize or talk to coworkers and John has disparaged their audience on more than one occasion.

They were saying that the calgunner emailed them and admitted that he was on YouTube pretending to be the one eyed cop. He said he was a Leo and is against police brutality but was on YouTube deliberately trying to stir sheet. Forgot what they said his handle was......just caught the end of it as well

I stopped listening when it dawned on me their greatest cause was drawing attention to themselves. I think they've been on too long.

Of course they should value CCWs. As certainly such people are targets for kooks and are probably reminded of that daily.

With maybe the exception here, as I no longer listen to them as I gave up on terrestrial radio years ago so not sure what they said, I normally agree with Jon & Ken across the board. I often use their voters guides as little refreshers before voting. I would be curious now to hear the segment.

What I got from the segment is that John believes the one eyed cop on you tube and the calgunner were the same person. John mentioned the calgunner kept speaking about the video in the first person, as if they were the same guy.

I was walking by the radio at work at the time and only caught part of the segment, so it's possible I missed some key issues.

Hi, I am filefish 949.... you need to know something, I am not the one eyed cop. I was just trolling. I spend a lot of time on a pro 2A message board, calguns.net, we have a lot of LEO. A lot of our LE members are really good guys, right up until it comes to one of their own using excessive force...basicly I was just posting up the crap they use to defend team blue. there is a lot of good on calguns, and directly taking LEs to task on their views about use of force will get you permabanned in short order. basically I was just giving YOUTUBE in site into how all, and by all I do mean all LEOs look at excessive force cases
