Found a thread, some think they wand, some dont. Anymore experience?

It's variable; mostly they do NOT wand. I know they did not wand tonight.

But I have been to at least one game where they did wand folks; that was some years ago.

Went to a Sharks game in 2001, where they had the walk-through metal detectors. That didn't last long.

Been to 4 games this year, not one had metal detectors. Even when they played the Dodgers! As far as I can tell it's just like any other private property, they can ask you to leave if they catch you, and charge you with trespassing if you don't when asked. I may be wrong, so research that a little yourself too. Have fun, the park is great!

Here is ATT Park's "Weapons Rule":

WEAPONS With the exception of law enforcement personnel, guests may not bring weapons of any kind into AT&T Park. Security supervisors should be notified if a guest arrives with an off-duty weapon. Please contact Security Control with name, address, phone number, seat location and a photo I.D. of the agency the individual is affiliated with.
