Colfax range still closed??

Looking through some old threads i think i finally located the BLM shooting range in Colfax, but i can't find out if it was ever re-opened after the fire a few years back. Anyone know if it's ok to shoot there? looking for a free spot near Roseville within 30-45min that ISN'T Spenceville! Would prefer something with at least 300yd capabilities, but will take what i can get

Can't answer your question about Colfax, but did you ever consider joining the Lincoln Rifle Club? For the $60 annual member fee, you get to shoot an unlimited amount and it is only ten minutes from where you live. On the other hand Colfax is about a thirty five minute drive and gas is not cheap these days.

eventually, yes. But right now not logistically possible. Can't make any meetings for a few months due to scheduling so once things open up i'll join. but still would like to know of a close range where i can practice drawing from a holster and other things that supervised ranges frown on.
