    Burbank gun stores

Stopped by all the Burbank stores on my way home today.
Guns Direct has a lot of new toys in stock. Lots of rifles and new pistols.
Aegis didn't have anything I was interested in today, but the guys were friendly as always.
    Gunworld ignored me as usual.
I noticed they're asking almost $700 for the same Saiga that Guns Direct is asking only $499 for. They also have an AR pistol with what looks like a del-ton upper that they're asking $1200 for. You know someone will buy it too.
Just kills me, - can't stand that place.

I've always had pretty much the same experiences with these shops.

Aegis - the guys are always super nice there. Not a ton of stock, but a very laid back enviroment and nobody trying to push something down your throat. Always willing to give some advice, and without all the attitude.

Gun World - They can all burn in Hell as far as I'm concerned. I will never go back into that place. They could be selling brand new 1911's for $5.00 each and I wouldn't walk through the door.

Guns Direct - I think the jury is still out on these guys. I've had both very good experiences with them, and then some not so pleasant ones. Personally I think the stress of being a new business and the buffoons that I'm sure they have to deal with everyday get under their skin a bit and it shows sometimes.

Gun stores are famous for having "attitudes", and I think it creeps into Guns Direct sometimes. But it's gotta be tough - dealing with the public is never easy, and on top of that all the rules and laws that they have to stay on top of and abide by can be overwhelming.

I tell ya what... If I were looking to open a business, it sure as heck would NOT be a gun store!
