Shooting it is the best way of disposal! Seriously, as long as it was kept dry, it should still fire.

I've always disposed of mine downrange before I sell the last gun in that caliber :-)

If you are not planning on shooting or keeping any of your guns for protection or recreation, selling them would be a great idea. We have a for sell section so you might want to think about using calguns. There are plenty of folks here in California that will enjoy your guns. You might want to check some of the auctions and see what they are selling for.

No but he can give it away. Also there is no law that says someone can also just give him money out of the kindness of their heart.

Please let us know what guns and ammo you have. Many on here would be interested I am sure. I got first on any jap rifles/ammo and I am have a FFL C&R Lic so I can buy without alot of paperwork. You wil;l find others have the lic also.

I would like to know why the OP thought it was illegal to sell ammo.

Also, good advice not to sell reloaded ammo, it's a liability nightmare. Bust it up and sell the parts.

First off, I would say include it with the firearm for sale.
IE: .38 revolver with 200 rounds of assorted ammo. Package deal.

Second, Just sell it on here. Please let me know if you have any 7.62 x .25 you would like to get rid of.

Please let me know if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember something in the law regarding manufacturing reloaded ammo "with the intent of selling it." If the original intention was to use it but he ended up selling it due to (for example) financial problems, then is it still illegal? Thanks.

Of course there's always liability problems.
