    BOLT CARRIER GROUP QUESTION

Once the carrier key/gas key (?) has been staked in the bolt carrier, can it be removed?
Say for instance if I want to install a P.O.F. Roller Cam with carrier key for a d.i. rifle.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of parts swap?

Yup. You'll need a QUALITY hex driver of the exact correct size to overcome the staking, but it's not hard. Moving the screws out slowly swages the staking back from where they came from enough to remove the screws.

    Pointless on a DI rifle.

Yes. Done it many many times. It's easy.
