    Badger Johns - Moved

Just an FYI - made my 1st trip to Badger Johns and found they have moved. They're now at 5400 Date St, one block or so off Madison, exit 96 on 80 East. Looks like they're just getting set up and have been there only a few weeks. Much nicer set up than the old store so it looks like a move up.

Picked up some odds & ends for reloading.

These guys are the ultimate high standard for customer service. You can spend the time and find more competitive prices, however it comes at a ‘price’. I can’t say enough about the expertise, integrity and courtesy you’ll find at Badger Johns.

I bet you didn't pick up any Varget while you were there,....cause I got the last can yesterday, I was pretty shocked at how few firearms they have for such a large place.

They had 1 AR rings when I drove all over town at first. I would of saved a whole day if I just went there first.

Me too. They had more stuffed game animals than guns I think. I'm hoping (assuming) that changes once they get settled. But I was glad to see they carry the CZ big bores. Already have a Ruger #1 in 375 H & H and a 458 Win Mag - I keep almost buying a 416 Rigby and noticed they had one for sale.

I've been in BJ's when it was on El Camino... nice store, lots to look at. Almost exclusively hunting rifles, but they're fun too.

Since they've moved, and haven't posted their new address on their web site yet, I had to go looking for somewhere else to buy some gun stuff for a gal that my wife and I are helping to become a first-time handgun owner. We heard about Sportsmans Warehouse out in Rocklin, and said "eh, whatever" and decided to give it a try. We kinda thought it would be a rinky-dink little shop with a couple of old-timers who take turns not letting the other sell any guns. WOW. is all I have to say. What a place! Do you think you would find .44 special brass and GDHP bullets at BJ's? No, that's not his target demographic. There were a lot of guns, both long guns and hand guns. Plus everything you could conceivably need to go out and enjoy them to the fullest. Quite an extensive reloading section, I must say.

They will be seeing quite a bit more of me there in the future!
