    Just a curious question

While riding the Metrolink (San Berdoo to LA) last week on the express; LASO boarded in uniform and armed; upon arrival at Union Station I noticed him lean over (thought to pick up his bag), and when he "popped up" he had camoflaged himself in a stylish hawaiian style shirt, that matched his uniform. Question is, now his hawaiian shirt is concealing his weapon. Is this illegal or do LASO get "free CCW" also? Yes, he even blended into the masses when debarking the train.

You're going to have to elaborate to this, I've seen a bunch of Hawaiian shirts (stylish is also a matter of judgement) thrown over uniforms before and I've never seen one that matched.

To answer your question, by Federal Law, LEOs have nationwide CCW...I don't know if it would be accurate to characterize it as free ; maybe a benefit?
