Tripp Research Super 7 Upgrade Kits

I'm in the process of ordering a half dozen of these for my 1911 mags. The polymer followers with the steel ledge that connects to the slide stop and the longer skirts are features that look like the answer to a lot of problems to me. Anybody have any experience using them? Do they fit into all standard Government, Officer and Commander-size mags?

They're a good upgrade. The 7 rounders are for full size and commander size, which use the same magazines. Their website says that it will work for officers, but I'd contact them to make sure.

All my 1911 mags have their guts replaced by the Tripp kits. You really can't beat them. The followers are designed well, and the springs (made by ISMI) last a long time.

Thanks for the reviews. Sounds like my research paid off. I started looking because I was hearing a lot of stories of metal-follower gouging around the feed ramps on Kimber aluminum frames.
