Dave's Magnum Range

So I went to shoot my LMT with a forward pistol grip. I was told I would not be allowed to shoot with me forward pistol grip because it was illegal. WTF

Since I got my first gun a few months or so ago, I have used Dave's. Small with pretty laid back guys working there. I've enjoyed my 3 visits. About 8 lanes or so and nothing fancy but fine for me. Not sure what the problem was, but my experiences have been good.

They tend to have their own view of what is legal.
I think it stems back to when they use to do MG rentals (H&K MP5s & Colt R0635) and CA DOJ BOF threatened them (revocation of permits/fines) to knock it off.
So, now their leery of anything that might displease CA DOJ BOF.

I go there often. Pretty good experience. Kinda short range.

Been going there on and off since it first opened 20 years ago. Never had a problem with any of the employees. Guess it depends on ones attitude.
