    Range in Jackson State Forest?

Can any members of the Redwood Practical Shooters or anyone who knows about this range in Jackson State Forest near Fort Bragg give me some info about the range? Is it a public range? Where is it located? Please any info would be great, it may be s shorter drive for me than going to the range on Cow Mtn.
    Thanks!

Well it's not really a range, but rather a location. Everything is trucked in, and out again for the IDPA match. It is not for public shooting.

I believe that it is near whiskey springs on hwy 20. I have never been there, this is just what i've been told.

I always go here (just cut and paste into google maps): 39.364464,-123.743398 or here: 39.335855,-123.729205.

note that the satellite images are not up to date and the 2nd place is accessible from hwy 20 even though the map doesn't show the road.

Both places are decent for pistols, kinda boring for rifles.
