    Shot timer recommendations?

I would like to get a good shot timer for the most reasonable price. Say $125 max. Can this be done?
    What brand/models do you recommend?

    Thanks

I've used this one for years: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...ber=1810132542

    Has worked flawlessly for me.

$125 is more than enough on a good timer.

There are also these to choose from, in the same price range.

        CED7000 SHOT ACTIVATED TIMER

        PACT Club Timer III

        RUREADY Speed-Timer 3000

I have both the RUREADY and the CED7000. Just depends on what you like. CED7000 is digital and can remember up to 10 strings with playback.

Love my Pocket Pro. Would highly recommend it. I believe they go for right around your price range too.

All joking aside, has anyone used (or heavily used) those shot timer apps on an iPhone?

We've played around with a couple of them, and they seemed to work for what we were using it for. Even the buzzer was pretty loud, and the mic picked up the shots just fine from our 9mm pistol and .22LR rifle.

I tried the surefire iPhone shot timer and it never really worked. I tried messing with the sensitivity but I would do a four shot group and it would pick up more.

I just downloaded the Android shot timer. We'll see how it runs next time I go shooting. :P

I believe the iphone4 has noise reduction circuitry in the microphone that causes a problem with this timer. Just so you know...

Yeah. I have a 3G so it's working fine for me. I also have another by AI app. It's free too but the layout isn't as "cool" looking at surefire

Been using the CED 7000 shot timer for about a year now. Never a problem and I've used it on the bench, on my belt and on my wrist. Only problem I've had is reading results over my belly when it's on my belt. LOL Biggest criticism I've read about is the non user replacable battery. But mine holds its charge very well so no battery concerns here.
