AC would not work in a gun range. You have to exhast the air in the room an AC could never keep up. The best they could do is give you a swamp cooler. Sucks that's another reason I don't like indoor ranges.

I love indoor ranges but its like 100 degrees outside which makes it so much hotter inside. This is my first time here and its a nice range and the staff are great and super helpful... just a fan or something would be awesome lol

Hopefully they have a regular fan for safety reasons that have to do with adequate ventilation though...

Unless you meant like a cooling fan or something like that.

I have only been to 3 or 4 indoor shooting ranges; 1 on a regular basis and have always been nice and cool. All 3 or 4 not only had an indoor ventilation system (which could be why it was cool) but could have had some other way to keep the range(s) cool. One range even had a thermostat which said room temp was at 75 degrees.

Maybe the range you were at didn't have a ventilation system (all though isn't that rare?) or some way to cool the range down.

Ventilation they had, but it felt like the heat was on the entire time.

The firing line in burbank is always hot. The other day they said they have to exhaust the air due to smoke and whatnot in it. It makes sense they can't run a/c, but a box fan or 3 for cooling the shooters may not suck.

They need to turn up the AC. I haven't been to an indoor range here in Socal that has this kind of problem.
